In Flight

So...there is life after head lice! I am crossing my fingers that Kylee is lice free. I found no more bugs today. For the past week it has been just checking and getting rid of the newly hatched bugs so that they can't lay anymore eggs. Sounds fun, I know.
I am finally not dreaming about lice or feeling like I eat it and sit in it everywhere I go. Can I get a hallelujah!!!!
Here are some silly pictures of me and the kids. This is what we spent our evening doing. It was really fun and I think we got some great in-flight shots! Please pardon my cheesy face. I am a nerd, what can I say.

Isn't She CUTE

I just wanted to post these pictures of Baily. She is very photogenic like her big sis. She is always coming up to me and putting her hands on my cheeks and looking into my eyes and saying, "I have green eyes like you Mom!" Love that kid!

Our Valentine Surprise

Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
If I never see another stupid
little head lice it will be too soon!

I will post more about the lovely gift Kylee brought home in her head from school later. Right now I have 1000 loads of laundry to do and more vacuuming and running around screaming to do. I swear that head lice (which is the most common childhood ailment, only second to the cold) is the worst possible thing that can happen. Okay...maybe I am exaggerating, but I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy.

Yes, please feel sorry for me....

Is your head itchy right now.....

The Circus!!!

We took the kids (except Malia) and one of Kylee's buds to the circus last week. It was so fun. The kids loved it. That kind of thing never gets old. Their favorite part was riding the elephant! It was fun and I would recommend you take your kids to a circus if you never have. Good times.
Sorry about the fuzzy pictures. I forgot my camera and had to use my cellphone.

Special Friends Day

Kylee had a Special Friend program at school today. They had to invite one special person in her life to come. Kylee invited my Mom. They sang songs and Kylee got to play the xylophone for one of the songs. She was nervous but did great! Then each child got to read something they wrote about why they love their special person.. My mom was very touched. It was cute!

I am very lucky to have such great people in my life that my kids can look up to, feel safe with and learn from! It really does take a whole village to raise a child.

Malia Eating a Bowl of Cereal

Here is Malia (15 months) eating a bowl of cereal. Pretty talented, huh! When I pulled the camera out instead of shoveling the cereal in like she did before, she just stared at the camera. Tipical! Her jammies were completely soaked after (I always forget to use bibs), but it was still cute.
